Die Theater-AG der Deutschen Schule Tokyo Yokohama wird in diesem Jahr ein ganz besonderes Stück auf die Bühne bringen. Das Stück wird auch auf dem deutschen Pavillon der Expo vom 12. – 14. Juni zu sehen sein. Doch worum geht es in dem Stück?
Ein Mädchen, welches das Fürchten lernen will, und Momotaro, ein Mädchen, das scheinbar aus einem Pfirsich entsprungen ist, treffen in Osaka aufeinander und begeben sich auf eine märchenhafte Reise nach Deutschland. Auf der Märchenstraße lernen sie ganz unterschiedliche Figuren und sich selbst kennen. Das Stück ist hierfür in vier Teile aufgeteilt, die von Musik und Gesang untermalt bzw. begleitet werden. Eine große Neuerung für alle Schülerinnen und Schüler ist in diesem Jahr, dass wir in englischer Sprache spielen werden – damit das Publikum auf der Expo hoffentlich auch alle Feinheiten des Stückes erleben kann.
Auch für die Schulgemeinschaft wird es eine Aufführung geben. Diese ist am Dienstag, 10. Juni, um 9:30 Uhr geplant. Wir freuen uns auf Ihr zahlreiches Erscheinen.

Gebrüder Grimm reloaded at the Expo 2025 in Osaka
The Theater-AG of the German School Tokyo Yokohama will be staging a very special play this year. The play will also be shown at the German pavilion at the Expo from June 12 – 14. But what is the play about?
A girl who wants to learn to be afraid and Momotaro, a girl who seems to have sprung from a peach, meet in Osaka and embark on a fairytale journey to Germany. On the fairytale road, they get to know very different characters and themselves. The play is divided into four parts, which are accompanied by music and song. A major innovation for all pupils this year is that we will be performing in English – so that the audience at the Expo will hopefully be able to experience all the subtleties of the play.
There will also be a performance for the school community. This is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10 at 9:30 am. We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers.
